Our Mission

At Five Up, our mission is to lift individuals and families through practical, compassionate support when life is at its hardest. We strive to provide essential household assistance—from everyday running tasks to cleaning and yard care—so that people can focus on their wellbeing rather than their burdens.

We are committed to making mental-health support clear, accessible, and stigma-free. Through our online platform, we connect the community with every government service available, offering simple guidance on how to access mental-health care, financial assistance, and crisis resources.

In times of loss, Five Up stands beside families with dignity and respect. Our long-term vision is to remove the financial burden of funeral costs entirely, ensuring that no family faces hardship while grieving.

We exist to lighten the load, strengthen community resilience, and lift people up—one act of support at a time.

Our Story

On the 5th of October 2024, we lost a very young rider — someone full of life, passion, and promise. Being young ourselves, it was the first time many of us had experienced such a loss. In our grief, we came together, determined to turn something heartbreaking into something meaningful.

From that moment, Throttle Society was born — a group created to connect riders, raise awareness, and educate our community about safety and support. Over time, through the conversations we had and the relationships we built, one truth became clear: there has always been a need for greater support for fallen riders and their families.

That realization inspired the next step in our journey — Five Up, a charity founded by members of Throttle Society. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to stand beside riders and their families when tragedy strikes, offering help, understanding, and compassion during the hardest moments of their lives.

Five Up exists because no one should face a loss alone — and together, we can lift each other up.
